Consider request of an appeal of a Zoning Manager decision to reject the Zoning Review of a business license application for Dallas North Lawn Sprinklers, Inc., for property located at 11397 Bells Ferry Road.

Case #23-06-010 Michael Rawlings (BOC Dist. 1).

Consider request to rezone property from LI (Light Industrial) and AG (General Agriculture) to LI. Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the applicant's request.

Case #23-06-011 Johnathan C. Beard for Elite Hardscapes, LLC (BOC Dist. 1).

Consider request to rezone property from General Agriculture (AG), Single-Family Residential (R-40) and General Commercial (GC) to General Commercial (GC) for landscaping services. The applicant is also requesting a concurrent variance to Article 12- Off Street Parking Regulations, Section 12.1. Off-Street Parking Regulations by Use, to reduce the minimum amount of parking spaces from 32 parking spaces to 17 parking spaces. Planning Commission voted to recommended denial.

Consider request to rezone 0.08 +/- acres of property from R-80 to R-20 and is requesting to rezone 0.08 +/- acres of another property from R-20 to R-80 as part of a land swap with an adjoining property owner. Planning Commission recommended approval.

Case #23-06-013 Tim Crane for Cherokee Growth (BOC Dist. 2).

Consider request to rezone 4.45 +/- acres from NC and R40 to GC for a medical office and other potential future commercial uses; requests concurrent variances to Table 7.1A, Minimum District Development Standards to reduce the front setback on HWY 140 from 75-feet to 50-feet; a concurrent variance to Table 10.1, Minimum Buffer Width Between Abutting Districts to reduce the zoning buffer from 35-feet to 20-feet, and a concurrent variance to Standard Detail 210 to eliminate a deceleration lane.

Consider accepting Sub-grant Agreement in the amount of $175,000.00 on behalf of the Juvenile Court to provide the Multi-Systemic Treatment Program to eligible participants.

ARPA Subrecipient Agreement with Canton Housing Authority.

Consider approving Subrecipient Agreement in the amount of $500,000.00 with the Canton Housing Authority for the Tanner Place Project from the County's ARPA 2021 allocation.

Amendment to Senior Services ARPA Award from ARC.

Consider approving Amendment 1 to the Senior Services ARPA Subgrant Agreement from the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) to extend the grant term to June 29, 2024.

Consider accepting GDOT Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) funding in the amount of $200,000.00 and authorize a Budget Amendment in the same amount per approved application for LMIG FY2023 Safety Action Plan (SAP) funds.

Amendment with Georgia Fire and Rescue Supply for the purchase of Firefighting Gloves.

Consider approving Amendment One to Agreement with Georgia Fire and Rescue Supply for the purchase of firefighting gloves for an additional one-year term in the amount of $137.50 per set of gloves, with an expected annual spend not-to-exceed $30,000.00 annually.

Consider approving a Standard Construction Services Agreement with Crown Service Contractors in the amount of $35,663.00 and a 15% County controlled contingency for construction of a Gear Storage Building at Fire Station 17 - Lake Arrowhead.

Transition Agreement for Charlie Ferguson Community Center.

Consider approving agreement with Charlie Ferguson Community Center, Inc. that defines the responsibilities of the parties for the operation of the Charlie Ferguson Community Center for a period of one (1) year for a cost not to exceed $20,000.00.

Parking Lot Crack Repairs at the Bluffs Administration Building.

Consider approving a contract with Remac Inc for crack-filling and repairs for the parking lot at the Bluffs Administration Building, for a total of $35,153.00.

Right-of-Way Condemnation Resolutions - Bells Ferry Road Widening Project - Multiple Parcels.

Consider approval of condemnation resolutions authorizing the County to proceed with the condemnation process for Parcels 5, 112, 115 and 118 and off-premises sign Parcels 19-S-1, 50-S-1, 115-S-1 and 118-S-1 for the Bells Ferry Road Widening project.

Consider approving the lease for 85 Flock cameras including Flock Safety Advanced Search for the Sheriff's Office for a total cost of $983,250.00 to be spread over five (5) years.

Consider approving a Professional Services Agreement with Pieper O'Brien Herr Architects, Ltd. for design and engineering services for renovation and repairs of the Arts Center Building in the amount of $159,000.00.

Consider approving a contract with Latimer Construction for the construction of a block security wall outside the Jury Assembly Room at the Justice Center, at a price of $48,000.00.
